About Dubrovnik

The city of Dubrovnik is situated in the very south of the Republic of Croatia The city of Dubrovnik encloses the tiny Elaphite archipelago (Šipan, Lopud, Koločep, Tajan, Olipa, Jakljan and Daksa). The geographical position of the area is typical of the classic Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot dry summers (approximatelly 2.600 sunny hours). The average air temperature is 17°C and the summer sea temperature is 21°C.
Dubrovnik is rich in cultural and historical monuments and is included in UNESCO World Heritage List. New archaelogical excavations in the foundations of the present City prove that a settlement existed in the 6th century or even earlier.
Today the cultural and historic heritage of Dubrovnik has been restored.
Reconstructed hotels, and the valuable assets of the Dubrovnik, Summer Festival as well as the other cultural events are essential elements for the development of modern tourism.
Variety of Flora (cypress, pine, olive as well as vineyards and lemon) with wealth of contrast with bays, beaches, steep cliffs and densely wooded islands takes ones breath away.

Official carrier Croatia Airlines

The official carrier Croatia Airlines has arranged special airfares with the 13th Congress of European Union for School and University Health and Medicine which will be held in Dubrovnik from 12 October to 15 October 2005.

Croatia Airlines will grant a 50% discount on international flights on individual published IATA airfares and a 25% discount on domestic flights on C, Y and B airfares to Dubrovnik for the event participants and accompanying person.
This discount is applicable for Croatia Airlines flights only, on tickets purchased in Croatia Airlines offices.

To obtain this discount, Croatia Airlines discount voucher and a confirmed registration form or other written proof of participation must be presented at the time of purchase.
The application period is valid from 5 October to 22 October 2005.
